Mr. Herman Mashaba serves as Director of Liberty Lane Trading at Assessment College of South Africa (Pty) Ltd. Mr. Mashaba serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Leswikeng Minerals & Energy Pty. Ltd. He serves as Non-Executive Director of Business Development at Aerosud Holdings (Pty) Ltd. He founded Cosmetics Company, Black Like Me products in 1985 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until January 2004, and remains a majority shareholder and a non-executive director of the company. He is an executive on more company boards than we can fit in this space. He received New Nation/Engen Businessman of the Year award in 1994; Marketing Person of the Year by the Institute of Marketing Management in 1994; SABC/Tribute Achievers Award in 2001; Award for Entrepreneurial Leadership by Henley Management College in 2003; Free Market Award by the Free Market Foundation President’s Award by the Black Management Forum in 2004; and Honorary Award by UNISA for Outstanding Entrepreneur and Leader in the Business Environment in 2005. In 2005, Mr. Mashaba was honored by UNISA as an outstanding entrepreneur and leader in the business environment.
