Speaker Profile
Jacob H. Huebert is a constitutional lawyer in Chicago and the author of Libertarianism Today. His articles have been published in newspapers across the country, including the Christian Science Monitor, Baltimore Sun, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Orange County Register, and many others, as well as in scholarly and professional journals.
As a law professor, he has taught Jurisprudence, Payments, and Advanced Appellate Advocacy at Ohio Northern University College of Law. He has also taught Appellate Advocacy at Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and is an adjunct scholar of the Ludwig von Mises Institute.
Huebert earned his bachelor’s degree in economics at Grove City College and his juris doctor at the University of Chicago Law School. After law school, he served as clerk to Judge Deborah L. Cook on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He has been recognized as a Rising Star in appellate law by Super Lawyers, and he is the past president of the Columbus Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society.
